Golden Technologies was founded in 1985 in a garage in Pittston, PA., by Robert Golden, Sr., and his partner, Fred Kiwak. Golden Technologies built a quality product from the ground up instead of simply adding a lift mechanism to an existing recliner. Golden Technologies expanded into the personal mobility scooter business in 1996 and currently manufactures scooters, power wheelchairs and luxury adjustable beds in addition to their flagship lift chair line.
