Respiratory Services Inc. was established in 1974 by Lewis Fuller, as a home oxygen supplier, serving the needs of patients in the Gadsden and Northeast Alabama area.

By 1981, Mr. Fuller became aware of the need to establish a full service Durable Medical Equipment supplier with a vision and mission to provide the highest quality products combined with superior service. Since its establishment of a storefront at 524 Broad Street in Gadsden, Alabama, Fuller Medical has become the largest volume Durable Medical Equipment and medical supplies dealer in the Gadsden, Alabama area. Continuing its vision and mission, Fuller Medical has expanded and established a Second Location in Albertville, Alabama at 128 North Broad Street to better serve the needs of the Sand Mountain area.

Due to our continued growth, Fuller Medical-Gadsden moved from our location on Broad Street which served the Gadsden area for twenty years to our larger and more accessible location at 1019 South 4th Street next to Colonial Mall. Our new location increases our retail sales area by over five times our old location on Broad Street.
